Pet Safety especially for cats

Dear Quinn,

We are so sorry to hear that. It is best to discontinue the use of the essential oil since it is causing discomfort to your cat.

It is quite rare for toxicity to happen by diffusion. Usually toxicity happens when the essential is directly ingested or indirectly ingested during grooming. (diffused oil droplets land on your kitty's fur)

Then again, like humans, sometimes our pets have higher sensitivities than usual.

However, there are precautions you can take if you wish to use essential oils in the home. It is recommended to use a diffuser in an open space and keeping kitty away from it and its cords (to prevent diffused oil droplets from landing on your kitty's fur, which they will ingest when grooming). Cats are great at getting onto high surfaces and into small spaces, so you can never be too careful when storing essential oils.

It is not pet safe

I ordered the essential oil cuz it's pet safe. I put in in diffuser and my cat threw up after 2 hours. Then i stop using for a week to test out whether there's other factor, my cat went back to normal. Yesterday I tried again and my cat started to throw up again, so I dont think it's pet safe. Especially when I only use 2 drops for 200ml diffuser, good scent tho.
